A TunaCan sized deorbit module built for CubeSats.
The dragsail fits inside the TunaCan volume and carries a dragsail & autonomous avionics to pull 1U-6U missions back to Earth within regulatory timelines.

ASDS Space Technologies spun out of Project TELLER to create deployable dragsail systems.
Project TELLER (Three-axis Experimental Low-altitude Laboratory for Exploring Radiation) is a Hungarian student team in the ESA/DLR REXUS/BEXUS programme, which flies up to twenty university-built experiments on sounding rockets and balloons each year.
Working inside that framework taught us how to qualify hardware for rocket launches, how to design resilient and robust systems, all fundamentals that now reside inside the company.
- Hands-on experience with sounding rocket payload design bound for ~90 km apogee.
- Close collaboration with ESA, SSC, DLR, and mentors on safety reviews.
- Experience with ECSS standards, harsh environmental requirements and tight deadlines.
Several founding members come from BME Suborbitals, carrying forward their structural, avionics, and campaign logistics know-how into ASDS Space Technologies.
The combination of Project TELLER flight heritage and BME Suborbitals systems engineering lets us deliver a turnkey, tuna-can sized deorbit module with the rigor of institutional missions but the cadence of a startup.
- Shared checklists and GSE concepts from sounding rocket flight campaigns.
- We can easily carry over previous experience working with sounding rockets.
- A cross-trained crew that has already passed ESA-level design reviews together.
